Here are some more pictures of me from this week. Just recently, Mommy introduced me to the "Little Kicker", a chair that slides up and down when I push against the base of it. I was too little to use it before, but now I'm just big enough to barely touch the base pad, so I had a lot of fun playing with it. Check out the video of me at the end of these pictures to see me in action!

Birthday Weekend
Whew. What a busy weekend I had and I'm only 6 weeks old! On Saturday morning, Mommy and Daddy took me on my first monorail ride. We went to the Children's Museum for Clara's 3rd birthday party (Clara is the daughter of one of Mommy's friends from high school, Krichelle). I am still too little to play yet, but this Museum looked really fun! Cousin Ethan was also at the party and he had a great time running around and playing on all the different toys and activities. Mommy and Daddy already decided that they would get me a membership here once I'm big enough to use it. I can't wait!
Then, on Saturday afternoon, we went to Josh and Holly's house for a going away party for Ken and Ellen. They are moving to Kentucky with their kids, Kaitlin and Henry. We're pretty sad because Kentucky is really far away. But we do hope to visit them soon, especially during the races.
Finally, on Sunday morning we went to Ken and Ellen's house for Kaitlin's 3rd birthday. It was really fun, as the kids played outside even though it was really cold out. I stayed in my Moby carrier attached to Mommy to stay warm. It was really sad to leave on Sunday to go home, because we knew it was the last time we'd see them for a long time. Hopefully, we'll have a trip to visit them planned soon.
Below are some pictures from Clara's birthday party this weekend. Enjoy!

Visit from Great Aunt Pat and Cousin Andrea
Today my great aunt Pat and my cousin Andrea paid me a visit. This was the second time I got to visit with my Aunt Pat (she came to meet me in the hospital), but the first time I got to meet my cousin Andy. I really liked Andy -- she didn't think so because I was so fussy early on, but everyone finally figured out it was because I was hungry. After I fed I was much happier! (Man...I sure can't wait until I can talk!).
Later, Grandpa also came by to visit on his way to the Duck Club. And today was a Nona day (she comes and takes care of me twice a week to help Mommy). Whew...lots of visitors! :-)

Sleeping on the job!
This week has been busy. Mommy and I have been out of the house a lot this week. We did a visit to the grocery store with Nona, visited Daddy at his office to meet his coworkers, met Daddy for coffee, went to the doctor's office, met cousin Ethan, Aunt Jenny, and Nona downtown for lunch, and went shopping for my friend Clara's 3rd birthday present. Whew! It's no wonder that I was pooped out and ended up sleeping through my tummy time. Here are some pics Mommy took of me this week:

I love the monkey toy that Cousin Ethan gave me!
PEPS!
Mommy joined a PEPS group last week. That's a group of moms that live in the neighborhood who all have babies born in the months of March and April. There's 12 of us in the group and we meet together every week. Mostly, it's just fun being around so many other babies. Or at least that's what mommy tells me. I usually just sleep or nurse through the meeting, but I'm told I'll outgrow that and eventually these other babies will be my friends. Here's a picture from our first meeting:

Uncle Z!
Yesterday, I got to spend time with my Uncle Z! Uncle Zach and Danielle came over to visit with me. Danielle cooked mommy and daddy a delicious salmon dinner and then everyone got to take turns holding me. Uncle Z was a bit timid about holding me at first, but after a few minutes I could tell he relaxed a lot and wasn't so scared of me anymore. I have to work hard on not showing my scary face -- I don't want to frighten anyone! :) Here are a few pics from our evening:

More Pics from my birthday!
Here are some more pictures from the day of my birth. I had a lot of family and friends come and visit me while I was in the hospital. Apparently, a lot of people were anxiously waiting for me to make my appearance! It was a bit overwhelming seeing the world for the first time and all the new faces, but I could tell that I was going to love these people very much!

Mommy's First Mother's Day
This past weekend was my mommy's first Mother's Day. And she told me that I was extra good this weekend, which made her very happy. Of course I was....I don't have any money and don't quite have control of my hands yet, so I can't make her anything. So my gift to mommy was an extra-good baby!
We had a great weekend! On Saturday we picked up lunch from Pike Place Market and then walked to the Elliott Bay Park for a picnic. I loved being out in the sun (though Mommy and Daddy did insist that I stay under the canopy of my stroller's bassinet as apparently my skin is still really sensitive). On Sunday, we had dinner at my Aunt Jenny and Uncle Rob's house. Nona and Grandpa joined us there and I got to spend time with my cousin Ethan. I can tell I'm going to like him a lot, but I'll have to get big and strong quick because I'm going to need a lot of energy and strength to keep up with him! Here's some photo's from our Mother's Day weekend:

My Newborn Photography Shoot!
Mommy and Daddy hired Jessica Hamlin Photography for my newborn photos. She was recommended by a friend from high school, and she was amazing! Jessica came to our home and set up a mini studio in our condo by the windows. Mommy fed me a big meal, and then Jessica turned on the heat (literally with a space heater so it was easily over 80 degrees in the house!). I couldn't help it...the combination of a full tummy and sauna like temperatures put me into a deep sleep. I don't know how Jessica got me to pose in all these great photographs -- I don't remember any of it. But as you can see from some of our favorites, below, she is amazing. Though Jessica says it's me that's amazing -- she said I was her best baby yet!
Grandma Visits!
Grandma came to visit me for a whole week after Daddy went back to work. She came from Bend to help out Mommy since I guess I am quite a bit of work these first few weeks. It was really nice having Grandma visit...I could tell Mommy was much more rested as Grandma would watch me while she napped during the day. I sure had fun with Grandma, even if my definition of fun these days is just snoozing away on her lap. Grandpa joined us on the weekend and then they both left on Sunday to return to Bend. Thanks for visiting, Grandma! I know Mommy really appreciated your help!
