Laughing Livy

Mommy and Daddy have finally figured out how to make me laugh.  Real, loud, belly laughs.  I find them humorous most of the time, but it is the rare occasion when they do something so silly that I can't help but burst into giggles.  They finally captured it on video for you all to enjoy!  We also included a few pics of me having a really good time in a recent outing.

Welcome Cousin Luke!

Yesterday my cousin Luke William was born!  Luke joins our family of 3 cousins and I had so much fun meeting him!  His birthday is July 12th.  He weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces, and is 20 inches long.  He is so cute!  I can't wait for him to get a little older (and me for that matter) so we can play together.  Mommy has been telling me ever since I was born that he is going to be my best friend, so I was very anxious to meet this best friend of mine!  Auntie Jenny is doing great, too.  Here are some pictures from yesterday and today when we visited them in the hospital.

It's finally summer in Seattle!

Well, Summer is officially here in Seattle.  That's right -- Mommy tells me that Seattle summers really don't start until the day after the 4th of July.  That was definitely true this year -- our weather was crummy for the 4th but it is here in full force now!  And we have been spending lots of time outside -- with me covered up of course (I'm still too young to be exposed).  But getting out into the fresh air is so much fun.  

Mommy and me go to Stroller Strides at least twice a week, which is an outdoor exercise class for moms and babies.  We have also spent several days in Aunt Jenny's pool since a few days this week crossed 90 degrees!  And Daddy likes to take us to dinner in the evenings to restaurants where we can eat outside...so that has been really fun!

Bed Time

Here's a picture of Daddy reading me my bedtime story.  My bedtime ritual is a bath (if it's bath day -- I get baths every few days), then nursing with Mommy, and then  Daddy reads me a bedtime story (or 2 if I'm lucky!).  After that, Mommy tucks me in bed and off I go to sleep for the night (usually around 9:30 or 10pm).  If I'm good, I won't wake up until 5am!  But sometimes I like to get up at 4am for a feeding.  Good night everyone!

PEPS Photo Time!

This week we took our official PEPS group photo.  (PEPS is the group of moms and babies that Mommy and I go to each week).  Mommy tells me I'm the cutest baby in the bunch, but I'm not so sure I agree -- this is a group of some very cute babies!  I'm the 3rd youngest -- but the oldest baby is only 5 weeks older than me.  I think these are going to grow up to be my best friends!
