Rolling Over

Wow, has it really been a full month since our last post?  We have been seriously delinquent in posting photos -- and it's hasn't been due to lack of activity, either!  Grandma and Papa visited in September and I got to spend lots of bonding time with them.  And Mommy and I have been enjoying our last month together before she goes back to work.  That's right -- she made the decision to go back to work part-time, and she starts next week.  I'm a little sad that Mommy and I can't continue to spend every day together, but am also happy that it means I'll gets lots of time with Nona.

We promise to post more pictures soon from September, but in the meantime, here is a video that Daddy took of me rolling over.  I've gotten really good at it now!  Mommy and Daddy can no longer leave me even for a minute because I'll end up on the other side of the room!

New outfit

Here's a picture that Mommy took of me wearing my new outfit from my Great-Grandma (GG).  Look how cute I look!  I've been wearing the top for a few weeks now, but the pants were a little too big for me at first.  But now they fit great!  (I guess that means I'm growing- yippee!)

Thank-you, GG!

Bike Trip and Picnic

Happy September!

It's hard to believe that it is September already.  Summer has gone by so fast.  But we sure finished August with a bang!  The weekend before last, Mommy and Daddy took me to La Conner.  We had so much fun with everyone.  Nona and Grandpa were there, and even Ethan joined us!  (Nona and Grandpa took him with them so Uncle Rob and Aunt Jenny could have their first weekend alone with Luke).  I didn't get to go on the bikes this time, since I was too little for even the bike trailer (you have to be able to hold up your head by yourself...I'm getting close though!).  But next year they promised I would get to ride with them.  And I had so much fun with Aunt Linda who took care of me while Mommy and Daddy rode their bikes.  Thanks, Aunt Linda!!

Last weekend we had our first picnic with all of the PEPS moms, daddies, and babies.  This was the first time that the Daddies got to meet each other.  The weather held out and we had lots of fun.  It went so well, that we are already planning our next outing for the mommies and daddies.

Hope everyone had a great August and here's hoping for an even better September!!

Woodland Park Zoo

Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo for the 2nd time ever this weekend.  They also took Ethan with them again since we all had so much fun together last time.  Daddy and Cousin Ethan had a great time again while I hung out with Mommy in the Ergo.  Here are some of the pictures we got from our outing.

I rolled over!

Hello -

Boy has it been hot in Seattle lately!  We've had some record-breaking temps in the 90's, so I have been mostly staying indoors.  I can't wait until I'm 6 months old and can wear sunscreen so we can spend more time in the sun.  Though this is Seattle, Mommy says, so any hope for sun once that time comes will be long gone.  Oh well...as they say with Seattle sports: there's always next year!

Guess what?  This past week I rolled over for the first time!  Mommy and Daddy were so excited.  I did it a total of 5 times that day and have never done it again since.  Hmmm.....maybe I'm holding out so I can get the same excitement when I choose to do it again.  We captured one of my roll-overs on video, so check it out below.

Other than that I've been spending my days with my PEPS friends, Nona, and some with Luke and Ethan.  This past weekend we had a great Salmon BBQ that Grandpa cooked at Aunt Jenny's.  However, Mommy forgot her camera, so unfortunately no pics from that evening to show you.

Enjoy the video and pics below.  This weekend Mommy & Daddy are taking me on their annual bike trip -- we're going to La Connor...can't wait!

First Trip to Bend!

Last weekend I took my very first airplane trip -- Mommy, Daddy and I flew to Bend to visit my Grandma, Papa, and Great-Grandma (Gigi).  We had so much fun!  We definitely kept very, very busy and each night I slept really well.

Grandma and Papa took me all over Bend -- we went out to eat, saw a concert in the park, went shopping, and I got lots of alone time with them while Mommy and Daddy got to play by themselves (I heard they went paddle boarding which they are now really excited to do again when we go to Hawaii in November).  Thanks Grandma and Papa for a great visit.  I had so much fun and can't wait until my next one!

July Activities

Wow, it has been a while since we have made any updates -- sorry about that!  A lot has been going on since the birth of my cousin Luke.  He has turned out to be a really good baby -- he sleeps most of the time.  That's great for Aunt Jenny and Uncle Rob, but not so good for me.  But Mommy tells me that soon enough we'll be inseparable!

Since Luke was born, I have been spending a lot of time visiting with him and Ethan.  Mommy and Daddy took cousin Ethan and I too the zoo so they could have some alone time with Luke shortly after he was born.  Also, my Grandpa came home from Alaska a couple weeks ago and it was really fun getting to see him again!  Then, we spent the weekend at the Crystal cabin (my 2nd time!) with friends Delaney, Carys, and their parents.  Finally, my Grandma and Papa from Bend came for a visit to see me, and the highlight was when we all had dinner at Susan and Lonnie's house on Mercer Island.  What a day to enjoy dinner on the deck.

Whew!  What a busy month it has been.  I can't wait to see what is in store for this month!
